v1 is bring-your-own-key. Visual runs use your Daytona and OpenAI credentials. Hosted API calls need a WorkOS bearer token. There is no getdesign API key and no getdesign run billing.

  • Dashboard. Sign in at dashboard.getdesign.app. Settings stores encrypted provider keys. Agent starts a run. Overview and Runs list your extractions. Examples is a shared catalog. Capture failure stops the run; text-only is an explicit continue, not a silent fallback.
  • API. GET /v1/design and /v1/design/stream require WorkOS plus request-scoped provider headers. Markdown embeds screenshots as data URLs; JSON includes images.
  • CLI. @getdesign/cli runs on Bun, writes ./getdesign-runs/<slug>/design.md plus a sibling *.images/ directory, and has no REPL.
  • SDK. @getdesign/sdk runs the agent in-process on Bun with typed getDesign / streamDesign results, including images[].
  • Skill. Portable SKILL.md via npx skills add MohtashamMurshid/getdesign. Uses the host agent’s tools, not @getdesign/agent.
  • Docs. This site at docs.getdesign.app.
